Andy
Andy is the big boss and founder of Sussex Solar. A mechanical engineer by trade, he started Sussex Solar after buying a house with a broken solar thermal system. Having fixed the system he thought there might be a future in solar and so he started his own business. Seven years on (and several hundred installations later) heʼs pleased he followed his hunch.
Richard
Richard is a man of many talents, and is also our electrical and plumbing expert. When heʼs not installing solar systems, he can be found pottering about in his woodland and doing a bit of coppicing.
Dan
Dan (the man) is our newest member and is an apprentice electrician. A good all- rounder, Dan is learning about all aspects of solar, both thermal and photovoltaic. In his spare time Dan enjoys weight-lifting and cannot pass a mirror without checking out his biceps (and his hair).
James
James is another of our fully-trained solar technicians. As well as general solar duties, it is also his job to rate each installation on the quality and frequency of the tea and biscuits served by our kind and thoughtful customers. His highest score belongs to a customer who actually made him a bacon sandwich to go with his cup of tea.
