Isn't it too cold and wet in the
UK for solar to work properly?
No, because vacuum tube solar
collectors work even if it's freezing
cold, all they need is sunlight and we
get enough of that, even on a cloudy
day.
Are solar heating systems too
expensive? No they don't have to be
expensive. Although you could pay over
£7000, you can actually have just as
good a system installed for between
£2500 - £3500.
How much will I save on my
utility bills? You could expect to save between 50%
and 70% of your annual water heating
costs. The more hot water you use the
greater the saving.
Is my solar system covered by a
full warranty? Yes. Our solar hot water system
has a full 1-year warranty on parts and
labour. The tubes in the solar collector
on your roof also have a 5-year parts
warranty.
Are you insured against loss or
damage to my property?
Yes. In the unlikely event of damage, we
have £1,000,000 public liability
insurance, as recommended by the Solar
Trade Association.
When the installation is
complete will you leave my property as
you found it? Definitely. Our installation
engineers will treat your property with
respect and will leave it clean and
tidy.
What happens if I have a problem
with the system after your engineers
have left? Simply call us and we will fix
your problem as a matter of priority.
After all, we want your system working
to its full potential as our reputation
is our future.
Who should I call if I need more
information or advice once my system is
installed? All aspects of the
system’s operation will be explained to
you prior to leaving site. We will also
leave a copy of our system manual with
you. Additionally, we offer free
life-time advice on the operation and
maintenance of your system.
