Sussex Solar Ltd was formed in 2005 by
Andrew Baxter from Horsham, West Sussex.
Andy is a mechanical engineer who became
interested in alternative energy sources
and decided to start his own solar
heating company. Because energy prices
are rising so rapidly, Andy is finding
that many of his customers make
enquiries after analysing their gas
bills. Those who are not on mains gas
supply are being hit especially hard by
the rising prices and are very keen to
explore solar energy. A growing number
of homeowners with swimming pools are
also looking to use the sun to heat
their pools.
Even though his company is only in
its second year, he is already looking to
expand. His next challenge is to let the
business grow without compromising his
high engineering standards. The quality
of his installations has earned him an
excellent reputation and many customers
have offered to act as a reference for
his work.
